RecVue, Inc. (“RecVue,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining your trust. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard personal information through our websites, services, and SaaS platform (the “Services”). It also outlines your rights and choices under applicable privacy laws.

This Privacy Policy applies to visitors of our websites and individuals who interact with our Services. Customer data uploaded into the RecVue platform is governed by contractual agreements and is processed solely on behalf of our customers. When processing Customer data (including financial records, invoices, transaction data, or identifiers uploaded by customers), Recvue acts solely as a data processor under the direction of our customers (the data controllers).

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Contact Data: Name, email, phone, company, and role.
  • Account & Transaction Data: Billing information, subscription details, contract records.
  • Usage Data: Log files, IP address, device identifiers, and activity within our Services.
  • Cookies & Tracking Data: Browser cookies, analytics, ad trackers, session replay tools, and related technologies (see Section 7 below).
  • Integration Data: Information necessary to connect our platform with ERP, CRM, or other third-party systems. Data exchanged across third party integrations (e.g. ERP/CRM) is governed by those providers’ privacy terms. RecVue processes such integration data only as instructed by the customer.
  • Support Data: Communications with our support and customer success teams.

We may  process financial transaction details or invoice related data as part of the solutions and services we offer, which include identifiers or reference numbers, but we do not process payment card numbers or banking credentials directly. We do not collect sensitive categories of information such as health/medical data, biometric identifiers, genetic information, or consumer health data. 

2. How We Use Your Information

We process personal information to:

  • Provide and improve our Services.
  • Authenticate users and secure our platform.
  • Manage subscriptions, billing, and compliance.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide customer support.
  • Conduct analytics, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.

RecVue uses cookies, web beacons, session replay tools (e.g., Microsoft Clarity), browser fingerprinting, analytics, and advertising technologies. These may record browsing behavior, navigation flows, or interactions to improve site design, measure marketing effectiveness, and ensure platform security.

  • Essential Cookies – Required for security, authentication, and site performance.
  • Analytics & Session Replay – Measure usage patterns and improve functionality.

We use vetted subprocessors (e.g. cloud hosting, analytics, and infrastructure providers) to deliver our services. A current list of subprocessors is available by request through privacy@recvue.com.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with:

  • Service Providers: Cloud hosting, analytics, support, and payment processors.
  • Business Partners: To the extent required for integrations or joint offerings.
  • Legal Authorities: When required to comply with law or enforce agreements.
  • Corporate Transactions: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

For California residents: RecVue does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. 

6. International Data Transfers

RecVue is a global provider and may transfer data outside your jurisdiction. We rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for international transfers. For EU and UK residents, RecVue relies on Standard Contractual Clauses and , where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for transfer to the United States.

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, Colorado CPA, Virginia VCDPA, Quebec Law 25, PIPEDA), you may have the right to:

RecVue honors Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as opt-out requests for targeted advertising cookies and data sharing, where legally required.

8. Sensitive and Special Category Data

RecVue does not collect or process:

  • Health or medical data (HIPAA, MHMDA, Nevada CHDP).
  • Biometric identifiers (BIPA).
  • Genetic information (GINA, GIPA).
  • Data of children under 16 (COPPA, GDPR).

9. AI and Machine Learning

RecVue may use artificial intelligence and machine learning to automate revenue workflows, detect anomalies, and optimize system performance. These models operate on aggregated or de-identified data and are not used to make automated decisions about individuals.

We retain personal information as long as necessary to provide Services, comply with legal requirements, or resolve disputes.
